 Tryouts for the Illini will begin on Monday, August 30, with Captains skates taking place August 24-26, allowing both new and current players to stay in shape and get acclimated to campus and the ice surface before tryouts start.
The tryout schedule for Monday, August 30 is as follows: Monday, August 30 - 3:35-4:35pm - Practice with coaching staff Tuesday August 31 - 4:05-5:35pm - Scrimmage Wednesday September 1 - 4:05-5:35pm - Scrimmage The cost is $100 for new players and $50 for returning Illini players (D1 and D2). Players will be given a jersey to wear for tryouts that must be returned on Wednesday following the scrimmage.
